Google has embedded some very helpful tools for students and teachers into its Google Docs platform. Take a look at the above graphic. Spelling - Everyone uses this feature, nothing new here. Research - Clicking on research allows you to research a topic right from within your document. Define - Another part of research, allows you to search dictionary terms right from your document. Document Outline - Automatically creates an outline of your document based on formatting such as bold or underline. Word Count - Self explanatory but great tool for students. Voice Typing - Newer feature that allows you to use your voice to type into the document. Great tool for those with accessibility needs or requirements.
